Dear Scholars and Families,
Welcome back to a new school year at Camp Curtin Academy! We hope you’ve had a relaxing and joyful summer, and we’re excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and community together.
The start of a new school year is always a special time. It brings with it the promise of new friendships, exciting challenges, and countless opportunities to discover, create, and thrive. Whether you’re returning to our halls or joining us for the first time, we are thrilled to have you as part of our school family.
Our teachers and staff have been hard at work preparing for the year ahead. We are committed to making 2025–2026 a year full of engaging learning experiences, positive relationships, and strong support for every student. Middle school is a time of tremendous growth, and we are here to support our students every step of the way.
A few important reminders:
First Day of School: September 2, 2025
Back-to-School Night: August 27, 2025 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
School Hours: 8:30 am - 3:45 pm
This coming school year, Camp Curtin Academy is embarking on making Camp Curtin a cell phone free school. In an effort to make this a reality, we have purchased Yondr pouches for each scholar. The initial information introducing Yondr to you prior to school is with this letter. If you would like more information on how Yondr will be used during the school day, information will be shared on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 5:00 pm. At this time, there will be a brief presentation and an opportunity to ask questions.
Communication and partnership with families are essential to student success. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, concerns, or ideas throughout the year.
